We first fell in love with German Shepherds back in 2018. We had recently gone through the loss of 2 pets. As I’m sure many of you know, that type of loss is one like no other. It’s unimaginable, inexplainable. We started talking about getting another baby, and German Shepherds have always stood out to us. We decided to look around and found a breeder located in Hazlehurst, GA. I will never forget him, his kindness and generosity got me through one of the toughest times in our lives. We brought our first shepherd home, Maggie that year. She was our entire world. We loved her so much and she was the best thing that could have happened to us after losing our 2 babies. Little did we know, a tragic accident would change our lives forever. We lost Maggie at only 1 years old. When that breeder found out what happened, he offered us Rylee Mae. I was devastated. I didn’t think I could handle another loss. I’m telling you, it was one of the lowest periods in our lives. What I didn’t know, is that Rylee Mae Von Handley Haus was going to heal my heart in a way I thought would never be possible.
She changed my life. She changed our entire family’s lives. And that’s when we knew we struck gold, there is no other love like a German Shepherd can provide.
When Rylee was almost 2 years old, a friend of mine reached out to me who owned a white German Shepherd. She knew how much Rylee meant to our family, and she knew that we were knowledgeable about the breed. She asked me if I would be willing to take her in. Uhm, IS THAT EVEN A QUESTION? Matt and I had been discussing adding another Shepherd to our family before she reached out, so we took this as a sign from God. And that’s when Stella Bella came to us.
Boy I tell you what, we had no idea the love that we were missing out on. Stella is our gentle giant. She is VERY big, while Rylee is a bit smaller. We had no idea just how big she was! She wants nothing more than to love, and be loved. I have never met a more empathetic dog. She knows when we need extra loving, that’s for sure. And now, our hearts are so full. We have so much love to share with the world for these dogs. Anyone to get a puppy from either of our girls will be truly, truly blessed.

She is so very blessed to have the opportunity to take the time needed away from work to assist with puppy delivery and growth into their first 8 weeks of life. Matthew is a Solutions Architect and always works from home. Between both of us, puppies are monitored 24/7 and we are so thankful to be able to have that option for our family. We can’t wait to meet you!
